By the time summer reaches the Hamptons and Westchester, the outdoor room should already be ready. Outdoor entertainment is its own discipline — gear that has to survive weather and sunlight first, and blend into the landscape second — so it is worth planning before the season, not during it.

Sound starts with Coastal Source. Everything is designed and built in-house, sealed against water, sand, heat, and cold, with landscape fixtures in solid brass. Their Coastal Connector cabling snaps together into a waterproof seal, which makes for a cleaner install, fewer points of failure, and speakers that are simple to service down the line.
Screens are the other half. An outdoor television has to be far brighter than an indoor one to beat the sun, and rated for the weather it lives in. We work with Seura and SunBrite — shade-rated series for a covered patio or pool cabana, and full-sun models bright enough for open light, all 4K, all built to sit outside year-round.
Placed and tuned properly, none of it announces itself. The yard stays a yard, until the music comes up and the picture appears.
