Smart Home Integration in New York City
In the city, the work is measured in what you don't see, and what the neighbors never hear. We integrate co-ops, condos, and townhouses within the rules that govern them, and keep the visible footprint to almost nothing.

A Manhattan project is a project of constraints.
Prewar co-ops with plaster and no risers, landmarked façades that can't be touched, boards with strong opinions and short work windows, neighbors on the other side of every wall. The discipline these impose is exactly what produces the most elegant result.
The co-op board
Approval is part of the design. We prepare the documentation boards expect, keep scope inside the alteration agreement, and handle insurance up front, so sign-off is a formality, not a fight.
Prewar, no damage
Plaster, no risers, and walls that can't be opened. We route around all of it, running robust wireless where wiring can't go and concealing what can.
Neighbors and staff
We schedule to the building's hours, coordinate with the super and managing agent, and keep crews small and tidy. The building's terms are the brief.
Concealed by design
In an apartment there is nowhere to hide a mistake, so we hide everything: no visible boxes, no wall of switches, one interface from the elevator up.
Architecture
Prewar rules, modern systems
Co-op boards, landmark status, and load-bearing plaster set the terms. We design retrofits that satisfy the building and the board while leaving the interiors untouched.
City living, quieted
Shades that manage light and privacy on high floors, discreet media rooms, secure access for staff and guests, and one interface to run it all from the elevator up.

Built on Savant, mastered.
We build on Savant, and we have gone further into it than almost anyone. Elevated Integration is a Savant Platinum Elite dealer and a member of Savant's Ambassador program and Advisory Council, which means we help shape the platform we install, and we know it to its foundations.
For a homeowner, that shows up where it matters: an interface made to be lived with rather than studied, scenes that match the way you actually use the apartment, and one accountable team behind all of it. The control system you touch every day should feel like it was made for you.
One team, in town and out of it.
Your life runs on more than one address, and we run all of them. The same senior people who program your Manhattan apartment build and maintain the house in the Hamptons or Westchester: one point of contact, one logic, one standard. You work directly with the people who own the outcome; on every job, that is the point.
Recognized where it counts.

A landmarked apartment that hides its systems.
A prewar apartment in a protected building, where nothing could be altered and nothing could show. We routed the system through what was already there: robust wireless, plaster-concealed audio, shades and lighting on one Savant interface, coordinated with the board, the architect, and the building's staff. The result reads as architecture, not equipment.

“He worked seamlessly with our architect and contractor to make everything work for our family.”
Common questions
- Will installing a smart home system damage prewar walls or plaster?
- No. In prewar apartments we plan around plaster and existing chases, run robust wireless where walls can't be opened, and conceal what does get wired. The interiors are left intact.
- Can you work within a co-op board's rules and approval process?
- Yes, and we plan for it from the first meeting. We prepare the documentation boards ask for, keep the scope inside the building's alteration agreement and work-hour rules, and coordinate insurance and certificates of insurance up front, so approval is a formality.
- What if our building won't allow opening the walls?
- Then we design an invisible backbone: enterprise-grade wireless, surface-free device placement, and control that runs on the network rather than new cabling. A townhouse can take a full wired backbone; a co-op gets one you never see.
- How do you handle noise and neighbors during the work?
- We schedule to the building's approved hours, keep crews small and tidy, and stage the loud work into as few days as possible. Neighbors on the other side of every wall is the constraint we design around from the start.
- Do you coordinate with building staff and management?
- Always. We work with the super, the resident manager, and the managing agent on access, freight elevators, and building requirements, so the project runs on the building's terms and reflects well on you.
- Do you work in landmarked buildings?
- Yes. Landmarked façades and interiors can't be altered, so we keep the visible footprint to almost nothing and route the system through what is already there. Discretion is the whole discipline of city work.
- Why do you build on Savant?
- Savant's interface is designed to be lived with rather than studied, which is what a homeowner actually wants. We are a Savant Platinum Elite dealer and a member of Savant's Ambassador program and Advisory Council, so we help shape the platform and know it to its foundations.
- Can you run our city apartment and our country house as one system?
- Yes. The same team that programs your Manhattan apartment builds and maintains the house in the Hamptons or Westchester: one point of contact, one logic, one standard, whether you are in town or out for the season.
