We design and install lighting on the two platforms that define the category: Savant, as a Savant Platinum Elite Dealer, and Lutron, as a Lutron Platinum Dealer. The right one depends on the home.
Two ways to light a home.
We build with both Savant and Lutron, not as a default, but as a choice. Each is exceptional; each suits a different home. What follows gives each its due. The order is not a ranking. The right platform is the one that fits the house and the way it's run.
Light, engineered into the whole house.
Savant pulls every part of light into one engineered system, and into the same platform that runs the rest of the home. When a house is built on Savant, the light lives inside it: one app, one set of keypads, one logic for lighting, shades, climate, and sound.
Full-spectrum, tunable.
Warm candlelight to cool daylight, tuned through the day so the light indoors keeps pace with the light outside.
Daylight Mode.
Light that follows the sun by the home's own coordinates (brighter and cooler by day, warm and low by evening) to support a natural sleep and wake cycle.
Ascend keypads.
A machined, minimal keypad: a few engraved scenes in place of a wall of switches, finished to sit with the room.
Architectural fixtures.
Through Savant's USAI Lighting line, the downlights, pendants, and recessed fixtures are engineered with the light, a relationship we know well as a USAI partner.
Beautiful light, under precise control.
Lutron is the reference for lighting and shading, the deepest pedigree in the category, and a whole-home system, HomeWorks, built to hold a house full of light and shade in quiet coordination.
Full-spectrum Ketra.
From the amber of firelight to the clarity of midday sun, Ketra tunes color and intensity through the day, so the light indoors keeps pace with the light outside.
Warm-dim scenes.
Warm, low light on a dimmer at dusk; a crisp working light for the kitchen; one press moving the room from bright to cinematic.
Palladiom & Alisse keypads.
Hand-finished keypads with custom engraving (Entertain, Goodnight, Away) and solid-brass Aviena toggles where a switch is right.
Light with shade.
Lutron's real signature: light and Sivoia QS shading coordinated together, so the room answers to the sun as well as the switch.
The right platform for the home.
When a home runs on Savant, we often keep the light native to it, one system, end to end. When lighting and shading lead, or the finishes call for a particular keypad, Lutron sets the standard. And often the best answer is both: Lutron light and shade, controlled within a Savant home. We design the combination that fits, not the one we default to.
