Networking & Wi-Fi

The quiet backbone the rest of the house depends on, and the one system you should never have to think about.

Everything else here fails without a network that doesn't. We engineer enterprise-grade infrastructure for the home: wired where it counts, Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 everywhere it should be, with coverage that holds from the front gate to the far end of the dock.

On the coast and the islands, where a single internet line is a single point of failure, we build in redundancy: a primary fiber or cable feed, a Starlink or satellite backup, and automatic cellular failover, so the house stays online when the neighborhood does not.

We segment and secure the network so guests, family, and building systems stay in their lanes, and we monitor it remotely, so more often than not, an issue is resolved before you'd have noticed it at all. The system flags a drive that is filling or an access point that is drifting before it becomes an outage.

It is engineered, not improvised: enterprise-grade routers, switches, and access points from Ruckus, Juniper, and Ubiquiti, hand-picked for reliability and performance, tied to Savant for control, sized for a home, documented to the last cable, and watched around the clock.

We label and document every run, so years later a change takes minutes instead of guesswork.

Networking & Wi-Fi for a luxury home
A calm luxury home office, the network infrastructure kept out of sight
Beyond the firewall

Secured, not just connected.

A fast network still needs protecting. We segment traffic so building systems, family devices, and guests never share a lane, and we can layer active cyber protection over the top for households that want it.

For clients who want monitoring, threat response, and identity protection built in, our dedicated cybersecurity program picks up where the infrastructure leaves off.

  • Segmented networks for family, guests, and systems
  • VPN and secure remote access done properly
  • Continuous monitoring and alerts
  • Optional managed cyber protection
What we install

The equipment behind it.

We specify to the room and the budget, from names that have earned their place over years of installs.

  • Ubiquiti

Clean, controllable UniFi switching and access points.

  • Ruckus

Commercial access points that hold a signal through walls and crowds.

  • Juniper

Carrier-grade routing and switching, sized for the home.

  • Savant

Remote access and whole-home control from a phone or tablet.

How we work

  1. 01

    Survey

We map the property (walls, distances, outbuildings) and where coverage has to reach.

  2. 02

    Engineer

Wired backbone, access points, switching, and segmentation designed to load.

  3. 03

    Install

Cabling run and labeled, hardware racked, power conditioned and backed up.

  4. 04

    Monitor

Watched remotely so most issues are resolved before you notice them.

What it includes

  • Whole-property coverage

Reliable Wi-Fi indoors, outdoors, and across structures.

  • Segmentation

Separate networks for family, guests, and systems.

  • Proactive monitoring

Remote oversight that catches problems early.

  • Always online

Starlink or satellite backup and cellular failover, with battery backup for the essentials.

  • Wired backbone

Structured cabling and fiber where performance matters.

  • Documented

Every run labeled and mapped for painless changes later.

Common questions

Why not just use the router my provider gave me?
Because everything else depends on it. A single consumer router can't cover a large property or carry dozens of connected systems reliably. We engineer a wired backbone with commercial access points so coverage and performance hold everywhere, all the time.
Will the Wi-Fi reach the pool house and the dock?
Yes. We survey the whole property and place access points (indoors, outdoors, and across outbuildings) so you move from the front gate to the far end of the grounds without dropping a connection.
What happens if something goes down while we're away?
We monitor the network remotely and build in failover and battery backup for the essentials, so most issues are caught and resolved before you'd notice, often before you're even home.
Can you keep guests off our private network?
That's standard. We segment the network so guests, family devices, and building systems each stay in their own lane, which is better for both privacy and reliability.
