Smart Home Integration in Southampton

Southampton is the original summer colony, one of the oldest English settlements in New York, with ocean-block estates on Gin Lane and Meadow Lane.

The village holds the Hamptons' grandest summer houses: shingle-style cottages a century old on Gin Lane and First Neck Lane, large new houses on Meadow Lane between the ocean and Shinnecock Bay, and quieter properties north of the highway toward North Sea and the bay.

Houses on the ocean block live with salt, wind and storms, and they sit empty for part of the year. We build for both: outdoor audio and lighting rated for the coast, shading for glass facing the water, equipment placed above flood level, and a system that is monitored remotely while the family is in the city.

Many of our East End clients also have an apartment in Manhattan. The same team looks after both, with one point of contact and one standard.

Architecture

Shingle cottages and the ocean block

Century-old shingle-style cottages, Colonial Revival houses in the village, and large modern houses on the dunes. We conceal every device so the architecture and the view stay first.

Lifestyle

Two homes, one standard

Weekends from May, the whole of summer, and the house closed and watched in winter. Arrive to a house that is already cool, lit and playing music, and leave knowing it is looked after.

Questions

Southampton, answered.

Do you work in Southampton?
Yes. We design and install smart home, shading, outdoor audio, lighting, networking and home theater for homes across Southampton Village and the Town of Southampton, and look after them through the year.
Can the house be ready before we arrive?
Yes. With Savant, climate, lighting, shades and music can be set remotely, so the house is cool, lit and open to the view when you walk in.
What happens while we are away for the winter?
On a care plan we monitor the system remotely, including power, water and temperature, and our team is there if something needs attention. Before a storm, the house can be secured ahead of the weather.
Can you also look after our apartment in the city?
Yes. We design and maintain systems in Manhattan too, so both homes run on the same logic with one team and one point of contact.
