Rayva Origami Dedicated Theater

A reference cinema, designed with Rayva and built in under a week.

Rayva Origami Dedicated Theater, Westchester, NY

A dedicated cinema, in under a week. In a historic Westchester home, a room above the garage became a true dedicated theater: the Rayva Origami design, developed with Theo Kalomirakis, delivered as preconfigured acoustic and lighting panels that took the room from framed to finished in under a week.

The presentation is reference: KEF Reference in-wall speakers on Parasound Halo amplification, a 7.1 layout, 4K60 over fiber, and a starlight fiber-optic ceiling overhead. Lutron carries the light and Savant the control, so a single press dims the room and rolls the film.

It was built to do more than watch movies. Voiced by ear, the room doubles as a reference two-channel listening room, and the acoustic panels lift away for access to the windows behind them, so the architecture is never lost to the theater.
